Ladies Aid

In association with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML), the Ladies Aid of First Lutheran has the following objectives:

  • To win and hold souls for Christ;
  • To aid the church, the home, and abroad in such effort;
  • To visit the sick and shut-ins;
  • To relieve the needy and distressed;
  • To cultivate the spirit of Christian fellowship and sisterly good cheer;
  • To enlist every woman communicant member of the congregation to help this society to fulfill these objectives according to such time, talent and abilities as God has given them.

“Mite box” offerings are gathered at all regular Ladies Aid meetings for Mission projects of the LWML.

You’re invited!

Monthly meetings are about an hour and a half and includes a short Bible study. Coffee ‘n is served following the meeting. Check the calendar for meeting times.

You are invited to attend a monthly meeting, to join the Ladies Aid, to join any of the committees to help us do the Lord’s work here at First Lutheran. New faces bring new ideas and a lighter load for all!
